Become a Healthcare Assistant and provide support in a variety of Healthcare settings. Complete QQI Healthcare Training modules that will give you the expertise and knowledge required to work in the Healthcare industry.

Upcoming Online Courses:

EVENING ONLINE COURSES – 8 Days

One session each day: 6pm – 9.30pm

Online Training Requirements:

  • Skills demonstrations will be completed in your own home through video on the online platform. You MUST have another person available to carry out the skills demonstrations when required.
  • You must have access to a laptop/computer with a webcam to complete this training
  • You must be available to complete the whole course as 100% attendance is required
  • You will receive a link by email to access the training and the platform controls will be discussed at the beginning of the session

All modules are €220 each and can be purchased through the course links. 

Learners attending these programmes must meet RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) criteria. 

*COURSE ELIGIBILITY...
To be eligible to sit this course you must be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This means that learners must have experience in healthcare, homecare or family care and as such must be deemed competent in a range of learning outcomes. After purchasing, an eligibility form will be emailed to you which must be completed and submitted to confirm your eligibility. *If you don’t meet the requirements you will be refunded your course fee.

  • Distinction

The grade achieved will be determined by the grades achieved on the components. Achievement of this award will enable the learner to gain employment as a Healthcare Assistant and also allow you to transfer to other appropriate programmes leading to awards at the same level of the National Framework of Qualifications.
