Do you know the correct way to lift to prevent injury? Have you and your colleagues completed a Manual Handling training course?

Under HSA manual handling best practice and to comply with current health and safety legislation under HSA manual handling best practice, staff must be given training in safe manual handling techniques. Our manual handling training course will show your staff how to carry out manual handling tasks correctly and therefore avoid back injuries. By training your staff how to conduct manual handling safely you are complying with your legal requirements. Back injuries caused by incorrect manual handling training techniques are one of the most frequent causes of workers compensation claims. This is not an instructors’ course.

We have Manual Handling training courses available in Dublin and Cork or you can book an in-house manual handling course in your company premises nationwide. We’ll send an instructor to you to carry out the training and get everyone trained and certified.

We also provide online manual handling training courses (theory only), where you complete the theory element online and then arrange a practical session that suits. More details can be found here.

Who should attend?
